Silent, b&w, 2+ min. Holland (The Netherlands), July 1951: Dutch farmers begin a campaign to eradicate tuberculosis in dairy herds. To further this campaign, ECA will contribute 50,000,000 Dutch Guilders to match the amount to be raised by the Dutch government's special levy on milk. Veterinarians and laboratory staff are constantly testing and assessing the results. Windmills dot the landscape and cows graze, and some are milked, in the fields. Bottling plants are shown. A nurse opens a bottle of milk and feeds a baby. A veterinarian takes a saliva sample from a cow. Technicians work in an up-to-date laboratory. See "NEWSREELS(?) (series)" for more information.
