Description: Sound (English?), b&w, 16+(?) min. 1) Examines improvements made with help from the Marshall Plan in the distribution of electric power in France. New power lines are set up. New tracks are laid to help modernize French train service. Follows the “Mistral,” a speedy and safe new train from Paris to the Côte d’Azur. 2) For the sake of both customers and clothing stores, scientists attempt a radical new approach in establishing more efficient women's clothing sizes in The Netherlands. 3) Air-rescue squads from a number of European countries and the U.S. cooperate to rescue people during a flood in The Netherlands on February 1, 1953. 16 min. 1953-1954.
