Description: Sound (English?), b&w, 16(?) min. 1) Les Halles, the historic central market in Paris beloved by tourists and night people, undergoes modernization and expansion to increase efficiency and lower France's food bill. 2) In the icy waters of the Lofoten Islands off the coast of Norway, the thousands of cod-fishing vessels which gather there every year now use radar to increase their catch, which is deep frozen on the spot for export. 3) In Yugoslavia, where floods have caused famine, tons of American food arrive to ease the disaster. George V. Allen of the U.S. meets with Yugoslav officials. 1952.
